Background

This is the 7th year of the annual Plone Symposium, originally hosted at Penn State by the WebLion team for its first five years, and now hosted by the Plone Rangers at UW Oshkosh for a second year.

The Plone Symposium always has been about the welcoming community of users, developers, and integrators of Plone, with an emphasis on educational uses and users of Plone at universities, schools, and libraries.

The Plone Symposium has always been not for profit, and we continue to strive to provide a truly rewarding and enriching experience for our attendees, training class students, and sprinters at the lowest possible cost in the most comfortable, pleasant and productive venues possible.

We welcome your financial or other contributions. Rest assured that any contribution you make will be spent wisely and in accordance with University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and Plone Foundation policies and legal requirements.

Past sponsorship contributions to Plone Symposium Midwest have taken the form of:

  • direct financial sponsorship
  • giveaways
  • in-kind assistance developing and delivering programming and classes
