Where to stay

Attendees will be able to choose from great lodging options!

  • Horizon Village, UW Oshkosh's new suite-style residence hall
  • The new downtown Oshkosh Premier Waterfront Hotel, which opened in 2013

If you need to make alternative housing arrangements, there are many hotels in Oshkosh and in the greater Fox Valley region comprising Fond du Lac to the south, and Neenah, Menasha, and Appleton to the north.

 

Horizon Village

Suite rooms are available in the newly-constructed, state-of-the art Horizon Village on the UW Oshkosh campus. All suites are equipped with wireless and wired internet, private bathroom, common space and kitchenette (shared among suitemates). Horizon Village is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certified, and all PSM activities are a brief walk away. Take advantage of the special PSM rate of $40 per sleeping room per night.  You can reserve a suite with your friends and colleagues attending the PSM (four persons maximum per suite), or be placed randomly in a suite with (gender based) others symposium participants.  A transportation shuttle is available for $20 to Horizon, sign up here.

Premier Waterfront Hotel

A block of rooms has been set aside for Plone Symposium Midwest participants at the Oshkosh Premier Waterfront Hotel and Conference Center, 1 North Main Street, Oshkosh.  A free transportation shuttle is available for the hotel, sign up here.   The special room rates are:

$72 Single Bed Room or $95 Double Bed Room
